While the countdown to the return of EMP Grenades is still enshrouded in mystery with Epic Games announcing it’ll happen ‘soon,’ the prospect of swapping Boogie Bombs for EMP Grenades has left the community divided.
Online debates, notably on forums like Reddit, have laid bare this divided stance. One faction of the community lets out a groan, “Boogie bombs are my accomplice in fun,” opposing another group who breathe a sigh of relief, “At last, those vexing Boogie Bombs can take a back seat.”
But there’s more at stake than just personal preference — the reintroduction of EMP Grenades might further degrade the role of vehicles in the game, which have already been weakened, raising alarms for some players about their continued viability.
