The recent game update brought with it the thrilling Fortnite Reload, much to delight of long-time fans, as it revives beloved landmarks and armaments giving them a modern twist. However, the arrival of this mode, intended to premiere with the v30.20 update, is marked by its absence in-game.

Unlocking the Secrets of Fortnite’s OG Reload Mode
Masterminded by the original creators, Epic Games, the new mode is not a third-party modification and was expected to be available via the Discover page within the game’s lobby area. Unfortunately, it’s yet to be switched on – the reason players have been unable to dive into it. Those eager to explore the OG Fortnite Reload mode will need to hang tight until it goes live through an official update from Epic.
Although the game’s latest update was deployed at 1 AM Eastern Time, players are still unable to access the mode. Developers have now specified Saturday, June 22, after 2 PM Eastern Time as the expected timeframe for its grand unveiling.
Presently, the Fortnite Reload mode is not yet in play but the wait won’t be too long now. There’s just a bit more time to go –a little more than a few hours– until the launch. Get ready to delve into the past with Epic Games’ latest offering and compete in 40-player arenas for supreme supremacy!
In a tantalizing hint, Epic has disclosed that another nostalgia-fueled feature is slated for 2024, harkening back to Fortnite Reload mode. Additionally, a special tribute to Chapter 2 is expected towards the end of this year. If the rumors are true, a selection of the most memorable moments from Chapter 2 will be resurrected in November, alongside a significant celebration to bring the chapter to a close.
